📢 Maharashtra Polytechnic Admissions 2025: Deadline Extended to June 26 Amid High Demand
Over 1.28 lakh students have registered for diploma-level engineering courses across Maharashtra; application deadline extended due to document-related delays.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, has officially extended the application deadline for first-year diploma engineering admissions to June 26, 2025, providing a much-needed breather for thousands of students facing document verification delays.
As of mid-June, more than 1.28 lakh aspirants had registered for polytechnic admissions across the state. However, only around 1.10 lakh students had successfully completed their applications by submitting the necessary documents and fees. The remaining candidates were held back due to delays in obtaining essential documents such as caste certificates, income certificates, and non-creamy layer certificates.
In response to this, Maharashtra’s Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil announced the deadline extension, ensuring that no eligible student is denied admission due to administrative delays.
